El Dorado Festival Sass

El Dorado Festival Sass

Hello Lovely's

Kick starting off July I had the pleasure of attending the debut of the much anticipated El Dorado Festival ran by the talented Cirque Du Soul team. In collaboration with the world renowned Boohoo.com I was asked to takeover their Instagram & Twitter accounts for the weekend reporting live from the festival. I showed you all how I got sassy in style.

Ok so where do I even start?! Located in a valley in the beatiful countryside of Herefordshire's grounds of Eastnor Castle surrounded by stunning lakes, it's safe to say that the festival site was one of the most serene settings that I ever witnessed. For three days I escaped to a circus/jungle - like world complete with a plethora of freakishly amazing characters, from 8 feet tall women on stilts, to jungle animal contortionists, fire eating ladies and sassy salsa dancers (and that's just to name a few).

The festival attendees themselves had me in absolute awe with the amount of effort that went into their make up and outfits. With Saturday's amazing theme of 'Golden Treasures', everyone certainly went the extra mile to get glitzed, slammed, fancy dressed and oh so sassy.

In collaboration with the amazing BEAM shoes, El Dorado Festival also created their own special edition pair of gold kicks which of course I sassed on the Saturday night. I don't think I'd ever imagined myself feeling so cool in a pair of light up flashing trainers, but I certainly made my 5 year old Sassy Rudy's primary school days proud looking just as cool as I did back then ha. Plus they're comfy AF so I was able to shuffle (well attempt) like an absolute princess. Make sure to head over to their website to get your hands on a pair of your own right here. (Available for both men and women.)

With an amazing line-up, headliners such as Kano, Blonde, Basement Jaxx and Collie Buddz, and not forgetting the "Rewind" LEGEND Craid David Himself closing the show. The whole event was graced with talents from genres at all ends of the spectrum. For those of you were unable to attend, or simply feeling nostalgic and wanting to relive the weekend, here's a link to their spotify playlist filled with the best tunes from the talented artists who performed at the festival. Click here!

The event literally ended with a bang, with an emotional surprise finale fireworks display. What an unforgettable experience it was. Memories shall be treasured forever and new friendships that have blossomed. A big thank you to El Dorado Festival for throwing such an amazingly unique festival, what a way to kick off summer! See you next year El Dorado Festival!

Stay El Sassy, xoxo

Babylon Sass

Babylon Sass

Hello Lovely's

I hope you all enjoyed your sunny bank holiday as much as I did! This bank holiday Sunday I had the pleasure of attending the sold out event of the weekend Babylon Day Boat Party held on the thames. Known for their fun, vibrant and youthful day parties, this event most certainly lived up to their fantastic reputation.

Departing from the beautiful Tower Pier at 1pm prompt the booze cruise began. Hosted on a gorgeous 1920's Great Gatsby inspired boat as I initially witnessed the biggest most beautiful lavish chandeliers and grand dual staircase. Admittedly I instantly felt as though I'd walked into a scene waiting for Leonardo DiCaprio to make an appearance...A girl can dream right? ;)

Everything Babylon came to life as I wandered further in, greeted by an amazing team of glitter artists to my left dazzling all of the guests with festive facial glitter, and the ultimate urban tropical paradise complimented the boat decorated with the likes of huge blow up palm trees and animals everywhere!

For the duration of the event all guests had the pleasure of touring beautiful London whilst partying. Teamed with the top dance mixes being played, with special performances from the talented DJ James Parkinson smashing out some tunes with his amazing performance. Check out his soundcloud here! http://bit.ly/1TSuyNv

If you missed the chance to attend this event make sure to get your hands on some tickets for their next London event 'The Summer Solistice Terrace Party' held on the 18th June at studio 338. Definitely not one to be missed! Get tickets here: http://bit.ly/1suCair and make sure to follow their Facebook 'Babylon Day Party' page to keep up to date with all future events!

P.s. Stay tuned for my upcoming post featuring the outfit details from the boat party

Stay Sassy, xoxo
